UFC BJJ 14 puts two belts on the line on Thursday, Dec. 3, at Meta APEX in Las Vegas. Andrew Tackett defends his welterweight title against Chris Wojcik, and Brianna Ste-Marie defends the women’s featherweight belt against Aurelie Le Vern.

The UFC released the full six-match card on Tuesday. The event starts at 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT, live on UFC Fight Pass.

Tackett vs. Wojcik: the main event

Tackett is the only man who has ever held the UFC BJJ welterweight title. He won it in June 2025, choking out Andy Varela with a rear-naked choke at UFC BJJ 1, and he has defended it four times since.

He submitted Renato Canuto with a D’Arce choke, Elijah Dorsey with a heel hook and Jonnatas Gracie with a face crank, 1:44 into the first round in August. Only Vagner Rocha lasted all three rounds, losing a unanimous decision in April.

Wojcik took a different road. In June 2025, he told The Simple Man podcast that he had been set to compete in the UFC’s first jiu-jitsu event, then pulled out and went to the Craig Jones Invitational instead. “I pulled out like a week before I was supposed to leave and I still hadn’t seen a contract,” he said. He added: “I just felt like it was not smart for me to sign an exclusive contract.”

Now he gets a shot at ending Tackett’s run of five straight title match wins. If the match is even on the scorecards, the new three-minute overtime rule applies. The promotion announced it last week to end draws in title matches.

There is a family angle too. William Tackett, Andrew’s older brother, choked out Jay Rodriguez in 86 seconds to win the middleweight belt at UFC BJJ 13 on Oct. 29. If Andrew wins, both brothers finish the year as champions.

Le Vern tries to win back the featherweight belt

Le Vern was the first women’s featherweight champion in UFC BJJ, submitting Raquel Canuto with a kimura in December 2025. The Frenchwoman lost the title to Brazil’s Rebeca Lima by unanimous decision in April, then got back in the win column in September with a unanimous decision over Rana Willink.

Ste-Marie took the belt from Lima in August with an arm-triangle choke, 1:57 into the second round. This will be her first defense.

Kennedy Maciel returns as an ADCC champion

The biggest Brazilian name on the card is Kennedy Maciel. The son of Rubens “Cobrinha” Charles won the under-66 kg division at the ADCC World Championship in Krakow, Poland, in September. He now faces Keith Krikorian, a 10th Planet black belt, at lightweight.

Maciel beat Ademir Barreto and lost a decision to Sam Nagai in UFC BJJ in 2025. At this year’s Worlds, he told VF Comunica about growing up with his father’s name: “Kennedy is Kennedy, Cobrinha is Cobrinha.” Krikorian beat Landon Elmore by unanimous decision in May.

Two more familiar names round out the night. Lucas “Hulk” Barbosa, the 2018 IBJJF world champion, meets Elder Cruz, who drew with Nick Rodriguez in March. Sabrina Gondim, who was submitted by Cassia Moura with a rear-naked choke in a bantamweight title match in May, faces Amanda Bruse at women’s flyweight.
