Who is Manu Frazatto

Manuela Di Foggi Frazatto, known as Manu Frazatto, was born in 2014 in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil, and started training Jiu-Jitsu at age 6. She is the daughter of black belt Bruno Frazatto, an IBJJF Pan and Brazilian national champion, who coaches her in Atlanta. She is also a Kingz athlete.

Before Jiu-Jitsu, she did gymnastics, and she still trains it today, along with strength training. She has also done wrestling, but she is not training it right now.

In IBJJF kids competition, Manu is a five-time Pan Kids champion, with three titles in the gi and two in no-gi, a three-time European Kids champion and a Brazilian national champion. Since June 2021, she has 58 wins and 13 losses in matches with recorded brackets, with 26 submissions and 40 golds in 42 tournaments.

Her favorite submissions are the armbar and the triangle. In July 2026, right before the Pan Kids, she was promoted to yellow and black belt.

Her biggest Jiu-Jitsu inspirations are Tainan Dalpra and Sarah Galvão. Asked what the sport means to her, Manu puts it simply: “Jiu-Jitsu is where I grow as a person and learn more about myself.”

After the No-Gi Pan Kids in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, her schedule continues with the IBJJF Atlanta Fall Open, UFC Open Denver and ADCC Open Louisville.
