Ademir Barreto wants to leave The Crown wearing the crown
The 2024 Crown bronze medalist says he doesn’t focus on opponents and promises aggressive Jiu-Jitsu

Ademir Barreto returns to The Crown this Sunday, November 8, at the Pyramid in Long Beach, California, for another shot at the featherweight title. A bronze medalist at the 2024 Crown, he opens against Will Wilson, the 2026 European lightweight champion.
“The event is full of high-level athletes, and I’m ready to face whoever comes, whether it’s my first, second or last opponent. I’m not one to focus on my opponents. My mindset is simple: one match at a time, one opponent at a time. My forward, aggressive, offensive Jiu-Jitsu will be my edge,” Barreto told VF Comunica. “The goal is one: impose my game, perform at a high level and go for the title. And of course, leave with that crown on my head.”
The winner faces Sam Nagai or Keven Carrasco in the semifinals, according to the Crown 2026 brackets.
