The substance
Methylhexaneamine is a stimulant, banned under the protocol of USADA, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, which adopts the World Anti-Doping Code and the World Anti-Doping Agency’s Prohibited List.
The sanction
The sanction was announced on November 25, 2014. The two-year suspension counted from August 1, 2014, one week after he was first notified of the result. His results since June 1, 2014, the day the sample was collected, were disqualified, with forfeiture of medals, points and prizes.
