Fellipe Andrew accepted the sanction that keeps him out of IBJJF competitions for two years. Andrew was tested by USADA at the Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championship, in March 2024, and tested positive for a banned substance.

The test detected clomiphene and its metabolites, a substance banned under the USADA protocol for Olympic and Paralympic athletes, which is applied to the IBJJF with slight modifications.

The suspension began on April 16, and all his competitive results in the IBJJF from March 24, the date the sample was collected, were voided. The information was published on the USADA website.
