Nikolett Kis

Nikolett Kis is Hungarian and trains at Infinitas Jiu-Jitsu in Budapest. She has been on the mats since she was a kid, but started Jiu-Jitsu around 2020. She arrived at Infinitas in 2023, still a blue belt, and that is where training went from a hobby to a career, as she said after the 2026 Worlds. In IBJJF competition she represents Sigma Jiu-Jitsu.

In 2024, at blue belt, she won Europeans, Pans and the Brazilian Nationals at lightweight and the open class at Worlds. At purple belt in 2025 she won Pans and the Brazilian Nationals, the latter with gold in the open class too, and was Worlds runner-up in her weight class and the open class. That same year she won the AJP Rome Grand Slam, in a bracket that mixed brown and black belts.

Her 2026 season at brown belt brought three lightweight titles: Europeans, with gold in the open class too, Pans and Worlds. In Long Beach she submitted all three opponents and got her black belt on the podium.

Between 2025 and 2026 she faced Brazil’s Eliza Nascimento eight times and won five. Eliza is now also a black belt and was invited to The Crown.

At her new rank, she took bronze at the AJP Istanbul Grand Slam. She has not yet competed as a black belt in the IBJJF; The Crown is set for November 8.
