He is one of the most respected team leaders in southern Brazil, but he has also continued his work in the United States.

Marcos commented on the final stretch to the opening of the new TMC and is motivated to give more opportunities to his students.
“It’s full steam ahead, we’re in the final stretch, the opening will be on December 2nd. We still have a lot to do, we’re racing against time, but it’s going to be great. It represents another stage in the realization of my dreams and another range of opportunities that I’ll be able to generate for other people,” said Marcos, in an interview with VF Comunica.
Marcos Cunha makes dreams come true thanks to Jiu-Jitsu
Jiu-Jitsu has been a part of Marcos Cunha’s life for over 30 years and his life has changed thanks to the martial art. In this way, Marcos shared his greatest motivation for continuing this long-lasting work.
“Knowing that with every achievement I make, I can help more people and change their lives through Jiu-Jitsu, just as Jiu-Jitsu changed mine,” reflected the black belt.
Marcos has overcome obstacles to reach this current level and guarantees that his goal is to turn dreams into reality.
“There have been some adversities. But the biggest was proving to everyone, especially those who disbelieved, that anything is possible when you dedicate yourself to making it happen. I use my achievements to show my students that they too are capable of anything. Many have called me a dreamer and I really am, but I’m a dreamer who makes dreams happen,” said Marcos.
As well as creating opportunities for athletes, he said he intends to offer better conditions for TMC professors.
“First of all, my focus is on my project in Blumenau. We’re in the process of getting our visas approved. Between February and March, I already have some athletes arriving to be part of UCLA-USA. In addition, the goal is also to generate opportunities for the team’s professors, who helped me form TMC,” concluded the black belt.
