The PBJJF held another high-level event in the United States and promoted quality Jiu-Jitsu. The fights were intense at the Washington D.C. Open Fall Open 2023 and the absolute nogi champion was an athlete who has already stepped onto the biggest stages in MMA.

This was the experienced Colton Smith, champion of the 16th edition of the reality show “The Ultimate Fighter” and a former UFC fighter. At the age of 36, Colton fought an intense duel in the final and won on points.

Colton was the highlight of the event. He was also champion of his category with and without a gi and won an impressive triple gold in the IBJJF competition.

It wasn’t just as an athlete that the American stood out. He led his students from the Enlisted Nine Fight Company and his students piled up medals.
