Bruno Frazatto, who currently runs an Atos academy in Atlanta, is one of the sports professionals who has benefited from the global growth of Jiu-Jitsu. With serious work on the fundamentals, educating committed athletes since childhood, Frazatto has seen results in major Jiu-Jitsu competitions. More than winning gold medals for the team, the most important thing is to pass on the teachings in the correct way.

“Jiu Jitsu, in general, has never been in such a good position and still has huge growth expectations, with many areas still to be explored and developed. We have more and more qualified professionals and academies doing a great job, with the sport reaching more people, in the right way.”.

An excellent personal development tool, Jiu-Jitsu is powerful in changing lives

One of the main differences in Jiu-Jitsu, when someone discovers the sport, is related to the increase in confidence. For many practitioners, athletes or not, joining the sport was a turning point in their lives. Considering the perspective of Bruno Frazatto, who sees this phenomenon up close, perhaps this is one of the qualities that makes Jiu-Jitsu so great.

“I see Jiu-Jitsu as an incredible tool for personal development and we can see fast and positive changes in the lives of students, such as improved health, self-esteem and socialization. We hear stories every day about how much Jiu-Jitsu transforms people’s lives.’.

Bruno Frazatto became a businessman when he saw Jiu-Jitsu beyond competition

When he was just a competitor, Bruno Frazatto had already glimpsed the potential of Jiu-Jitsu in the business area and, according to him, it was important to have a Plan B. It was then that, combined with the experience of an accoladed black-belt as a competitor, he had the idea of delving deeper into entrepreneurship.

I started to develop in other areas and realized how important it was not to focus all my efforts on one thing. So, I became more interested in the Jiu-Jitsu business and what qualities and characteristics would be important to make this career transition. That’s how I started to focus and study more about entrepreneurship. I believe that all the experience I had helped a lot in leading the team, but that alone is not enough. I need information, guidance and a lot of study so that things are done well. A company needs a path to be traced and followed in order to be successful.”.

Regarding his role as a businessman and professor at Atos Atlanta, Bruno said in an interview with the VF Comunica team that there are plans for expansion. But, for now, the main objective is the high quality of the class program.

“I think that all the positive results this year are a reflection of the daily work we are doing with our team of instructors. Our focus, from the beginning, was to have a solid program at the base with the kids programs and thus leverage the other programs. Today, we have incredible results in the main Jiu-Jitsu competitions in Gi and No Gi at the master, adult, juvenile and kids divisions. The number of practitioners at the academy continues to grow and we have more and more people interested in our sport. I am very happy and grateful for everything that has been happening.”, Frazatto concluded.
